BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Mathematics Secondary Education
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education Mathematics in June 2013. I was a competitive swimmer from the age of 10, and I continued my swimming career into college. I also had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Spain for 1 month during my Junior Year. This began my love for travel!
MASTER'S
DEGREE
Special Education & MS Extention
I continued my education and received my Master's Degree in Special Education in May of 2016. I have always had a passion for helping students of all abilities, and getting an education targeted to that was an incredible journey. I continuously strive to better myself and become a better educator with each passing year.

EXPERIENCE
7 Years of Teaching Experience
After graduating, I obtained a few leave replacement positions in both South Huntington School District and Sachem Central School District from 2014-2017. In the Summer of 2017, I was blessed with the opportunity to accept a full-time position at Mineola High School. I could not imagine myself anywhere else!
OUTSIDE OF WORK
Wife, Daughter, Cat Mom
I currently reside in Coram, NY with my husband (Daniel) and our two cats (Ralphie and Eddie, who are named after Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton from The Honeymooners). I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Some of my hobbies include traveling, being near the ocean, working out, cooking, and photography. My newest quarantine hobby has been working on my digital illustration skills in Procreate!
